the track on them (within reason). Unless you KNOW you'll be competing in the rain with them, get them shaved. They need to be heat-cycled or they chunk like mad, so unless you can do the heat-cycling yourself (very possible), pay the TR to do it for you. I consider them an aggressive autox tire and an intermediate road course tire. They are a great tire for both. I've used this set-up for 3 years now, and am now just changing to have two sets of wheels. =) Keep track of your tire pressures - I like to run 37-38psi hot in them.
